Responsibilities:

As a Veterinary Nurse at our Suzhou clinic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facility. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Patient Care: Providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. This includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with examinations and procedures, and providing post-operative care. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
Assisting Veterinarians: Providing efficient and effective assistance to veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other procedures. This includes preparing surgical instruments, restraining animals, and assisting with diagnostic tests. A keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn new techniques are essential.
Client Communication: Interacting professionally and empathetically with clients, answering their questions, providing updates on their pets' conditions, and offering support during challenging times. Excellent communication skills are paramount in this role, as you will be the primary point of contact for many clients.
Clinic Maintenance: Contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the clinic, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. This includes cleaning and sterilizing equipment, stocking supplies, and maintaining inventory levels.
Emergency Response: Responding calmly and efficiently to emergency situations, providing immediate care to critically ill or injured animals. Quick thinking and decisive action are crucial in this demanding aspect of the role.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols. Thorough record-keeping is essential for the efficient operation of the clinic and the provision of quality care.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
A recognized veterinary nursing qualification or equivalent experience. International qualifications will be considered.
Proven experience working in a veterinary clinic, preferably with a focus on canine patients.
Excellent practical skills in animal handling, restraint, and administration of medications.
A deep understanding of canine anatomy, physiology, and common diseases.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both clients and colleagues.

Proficiency in Mandarin and English. Fluency in both languages is highly desirable.
