Responsibilities:

As a dog groomer and caregiver, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Providing a wide range of grooming services, including bathing, brushing, haircutting, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
Maintaining a clean and sanitary grooming environment.
Handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience, kindness, and professionalism.
Identifying and addressing any potential health concerns and reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the salon.
Communicating effectively with clients regarding their dogs’ grooming needs and any concerns.
Maintaining accurate records of services provided and client information.
Adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
For caregivers: Providing daycare services, including supervised playtime, feeding, and potty breaks.
For caregivers: Ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of dogs under their care.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
Proven experience as a dog groomer (minimum 1 year preferred, more experience highly valued)
A genuine love for dogs and a deep understanding of their behavior
Excellent grooming skills and knowledge of various breeds and grooming techniques
Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments calmly and confidently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) is preferred
Valid work permit in China
Current certifications in pet first aid and CPR are a plus but not mandatory (we provide training)
